Information for Incoming Students
NOMINATION
This is the first step. Your university has to nominate you by email to erasmus@ambis.cz. Once we receive the nomination from your university, we will send you an email with more information and you can start working on your application.
APPLICATION
- Deadline for the first (fall) semester: 15 June
- Deadline for the second (spring) semester: 15 November
Please send the documents listed below (ideally all together, except for OLA/LA) to erasmus@ambis.cz, with dagmar.krupickova@ambis.cz in the copy. Email Subject: Erasmus Application - Your Name
- Fill in the Student application form (download it here)
- Transcript of Records (list of grades you've received so far at your home university)
- Scan/photo of your European Health Insurance Card or a valid health insurance (copy of the agreement/confirmation). All students should have an adequate travel health insurance (the European Health Insurance Card only provides basic coverage)
- Scan/photo of your Passport / ID
- Photo of you (passport type)
LEARNING AGREEMENT (LA/OLA)
- We prefer to use the online version of the Learning Agreement (https://learning-agreement.eu/)
- If your university does not use OLA (Online Learning Agreement), use the LA form they provide you (we will accept this version)
- Some universities are using their own OLA platforms, that is okay too
- Our OLA information can be found in the factsheet below
LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE
- We will send you the acceptance letter once you have provided us with all the documents listed above and your LA/OLA has been approved by all three parties
- We usually send the letter via email only. If you need a physical copy (usually only for students applying for a visa), please let us know in advance
VISA (for non-EU students only!)
- Start the process as soon as possible as it can take up to 60 days - visa information

COURSE LIST (study offer)
- Minimum English language level: B1/B2 (all courses are held in English, no official certificate required)
- Recommended minimum number of ECTS per semester: 20
- All courses are bachelor level

Fall (first) semester
- Orientation meeting: end of September - beginning of October (exact date will be specified by email)
- Teaching period: beginning of October – end of December
- Examination period: beginning of January – mid-February
Spring (second) semester

Accommodation:
- Ambis University does not provide accommodation for students and they are responsible for finding their own accommodation
